You must be at least 18 years old to use Hope Agent and must enter an age between 18 and 120. Do not evade the age check or provide false eligibility information. People under 18 should not use Hope Agent; the website may instead show links to independent youth services.

Know2SayNo provides general educational material, structured self-help content, faith-informed encouragement, and access to directory information. Hope Agent is an automated AI system, not a human counsellor.

The website may include Christian perspectives. The onboarding flow identifies this and provides access to secular resource options. You remain responsible for deciding whether that framing is suitable for you.

Know2SayNo does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or prevent any condition. It does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Responses and self-assessments may be incomplete, mistaken, or inappropriate for your situation and must not replace advice from a qualified professional.

Hope Agent is not an emergency service, and the administration team's safety review is not continuous emergency monitoring. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a website response.

Hope Agent responses are generated using Anthropic's API together with rule-based safety checks and structured Know2SayNo content. AI output can be inaccurate or inconsistent. Never rely on it as the sole basis for a safety-critical decision. Critical contact details shown in resource cards come from structured database records; conversational explanations do not change those details.

Do not include information you do not want processed or retained. Hope Agent is account-free and pseudonymous, not guaranteed anonymous. See the Privacy Policy for processing and retention details.

Resource records are selected from a reviewed Know2SayNo administration database. Matching is based on confirmed city, region, country, language, topic, urgency, availability, audience, and verification information where available.

Church matching is city-level. We do not request precise browser coordinates or promise that a result is physically closest. Regional results are presented separately when no exact confirmed-city result exists. Languages, operating hours, service times, eligibility, and availability can change; confirm critical details directly with the provider.

Churches, helplines, emergency services, and external websites are independent of Urban Restora unless expressly stated. A listing is not an endorsement, partnership, guarantee of quality, or guarantee that a service will accept or assist you. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

You agree not to:

- use the service unlawfully or to harm, threaten, exploit, harass, or impersonate another person;

- submit malware, automated attacks, instructions intended to bypass safeguards, or content that infringes another person's rights;

- probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the website, database, session controls, rate limits, or resource directory except where law expressly permits;

- use resource contact details for spam, marketing, harassment, or unauthorised data collection;

- misrepresent the service as professional, emergency, or clinical care; or

- use another person's session or deletion code without authority.

We may restrict or terminate access, revoke a session, preserve limited security evidence, or contact appropriate authorities where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the service and where permitted by law.

You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. You give Urban Restora a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transmit, analyse, and otherwise process that content only as needed to provide, secure, review, and improve the service; meet legal obligations; and apply the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to submit content and for avoiding unnecessary information about other people. Do not upload confidential information belonging to someone else without authority.

The website, branding, software, designs, and original content are owned by or licensed to Urban Restora and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the service and download or print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, sublicense, or create a competing database or service from our content without written permission, except where law permits.

Third-party names, logos, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information and device storage are handled. Hope Agent provides one chat-management action, Delete chat, which permanently removes the retained chat and associated pseudonymous records as described in the Privacy Policy. Quick Exit only removes current browser access and navigates away; it does not delete retained chat data.

Any donation feature or financial information is also subject to the Donation & Financial Compliance page and any terms presented by the payment provider. Unless a separate written arrangement says otherwise, a donation does not purchase Hope Agent support, professional services, preferential access, or a particular outcome. Applicable statutory rights and required receipts are not excluded by these Terms.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, providers, or directories to maintain safety, security, legal compliance, or service quality. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of a chat beyond its stated retention period, or availability of a particular helpline or church.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that AI output, resource information, self-assessment results, or third-party services will be accurate, complete, suitable, continuously available, or free of harmful or unwanted content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, duty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urban Restora and its trustees, officers, workers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the service, reliance on AI output, or dealings with an independent third party.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent the law permits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for loss reasonably arising from your unlawful misuse of the service, infringement of another person's rights, or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by Urban Restora or where applicable consumer law does not permit it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer or statutory forum, courts with jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction over disputes.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact Anand Mathew, Grievance Officer, at webmaster@urbanrestora.com so we can try to resolve the concern. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a statutory complaint mechanism.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as much as necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written agreement. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a lawful organisational change, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any feature-specific notice, form the agreement for use of the website. A heading is for convenience and does not change meaning.

We may update these Terms. The page will show its version, effective date, last-updated date, and approval status. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law; where consent is required, we will request it.
